During her over 20 years of journalistic activity, she was associated with various radio and television stations. She led, among others news services such as: Panorama on TVP2 (1999-2006) and Panorama of the day on TVP Info (2013-2014). She was also the hostess of the Polish Reporter program and conducted interviews as part of the Women's Point of View series and the Po przecinku program. In 2007-2010, she hosted the Open House series for TVN and co-hosted "Sekrety Mądrej Nani" on TVN Style. Since 2018, she has been associated with Polsat News as the host of the Nowy Dzien band. At the same time, she is a volunteer actively involved in helping Ukraine, as well as the author of books in which she puts the stories of the people she meets on paper and raises difficult but important topics. Among Joanna's publications are "Sleeping with the President"-stories of women in violent relationships and "It's not a country, it's people" - a collection of stories and accounts collected on the Polish-Ukrainian border at the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, a kind of image of the quiet heroism of people involved in helping, despite the atrocities of war.
