What is Career Turn?
It's a free educational project for people interested in changing their career path and starting work in international organizations. Our goal is to provide training support and effectively activate participants in the job market.
If you have a communicative level of English and would like to take part in a two-week cycle of highly engaging and in-demand training sessions that will prepare you for a profession and work in international organizations, then you are a candidate for Career Turn.
People from various social groups, professional situations, and nationalities take part in our project. If you are interested and have more questions, feel free to call us - we will be happy to answer all of them!
The training sessions are delivered by UBS employees as part of their employee volunteering program. The trainers share their experience gained in an international corporate environment, providing participants with knowledge based on real processes and current market standards.
Who is this project for?
The project is aimed at people who are currently in a difficult situation in the job market:
- unemployed,
- at risk of losing their job or working below their qualifications,
- without higher education or professional experience,
- mature individuals aged 45 and over,
- people with disabilities,
- individuals returning from emigration,
- parents re-entering the job market,
- but not only!
What are the benefits of participating in the project?
- Several dozen hours of hands-on training,
- Individual coaching and mentoring (3 online sessions),
- Participation in a prestigious project carried out at UBS headquarters,
- Support from UBS employees and networking opportunities.
When will the training sessions take place?
July 13–24, 2026 (Monday–Friday), 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Where will the training sessions take place?
- On-site in Kraków, at the partner’s headquarters – UBS.
- Other forms of support: mentoring/coaching to be used within 3 months after the training is completed (schedules will be arranged individually).
What do we require from candidates?
- A communicative knowledge of English, as the classes are conducted in this language.
- The ability to participate in person in the project – the training sessions take place on-site at the project partner’s headquarters, UBS, from July 13–24, 2026.
Schedule
April 16, 2026 – June 19, 2026 – Application collection via the online application form on the website (tab: “APPLY” in the top right corner).
May 15, 2026 – June 22, 2026 – Individual informational and recruitment interview with a representative of the Foundation and UBS.
After June 22, 2026 – announcement of the list of participants qualified for the project (notification sent by email to the address provided by candidates in the application form).
July 13, 2026 – July 24, 2026 – Training sessions in Kraków, at UBS headquarters, conducted by UBS employees.
The project is carried out under the Honorary Patronage of the Kraków City Council.
Project coordinators:
- He graduated from a program in Rome focusing on corporate communications and institutional relations. After moving to Poland in 2014, he gained professional experience in an international environment by holding various positions in the IT sector.
- In his current role, he manages a small team responsible for both training the local Service Desk team and auditing the quality of their work.
- He also leads the internal DE&I network, which aims to promote cultural awareness and support the integration of employees from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- In his free time, Roberto enjoys listening to history podcasts and reading classics or contemporary works on philosophy and psychology.
