WE SUPPORT ADULTS IN THEIR DEVELOPMENT

Stella Virium foundation's activities concentrate on supporting adults in developing their competencies, in line with the idea of lifelong learning.

Involving high competence employee volunteering, we help people with fewer opportunities to develop their competencies and upskill, reskill, so that we equalize their chances in the labor market, as well as empower in the personal sphere, boosting self-confidence and strengthening the sense of self-reliance.

We help people, among others:

  • With disabilities and neurodivergency
  • Underemployed/at risk of losing their jobs
  • Returning to the labor market after a break due to childcare
  • With experience of migration and/or refugees
  • Discriminated because of age or other reasons
  • Returning to Poland from emigration
  • Youngsters without work experience

Givers also receive.

Volunteers participate in our educational projects for example as recruiters, trainers, mentors, coaches, language tutors, and project leaders.

From the one hand they share their knowledge and experience with beneficiaries but at the same time they also receive and learn from them.

Thanks to participation in the project, volunteers: acquire or improve their competences (ex. as a trainer), boost their self-confidence, increase their sense of belonging to the company and the feeling that they are an important part of the company.
