What is Helping Hand?
Helping Hand is a free online educational project designed to develop future-ready skills essential for navigating today’s rapidly changing job market.
This is already the sixth edition of the program, created in response to the growing skills gap driven by technological advancement and workplace digitalization. Many people today experience technological and competency-related marginalization. Helping Hand supports participants in gaining practical skills that enhance their professional competitiveness and boost their confidence in the recruitment process.
The project prepares participants for roles requiring teamwork and remote collaboration, introduces modern organizational standards, and teaches the effective use of digital tools and artificial intelligence in everyday professional tasks.
The training sessions are delivered by business practitioners - employees of State Street - as part of corporate volunteering. Trainers share their experience gained in an international corporate environment, providing knowledge based on real-life processes and current market standards.
Who is Helping Hand for?
The sixth edition of Helping Hand is a unique opportunity for adults who want to accelerate their development, gain future-oriented competencies, and confidently navigate the modern labor market. The program is primarily addressed to individuals who want to open new professional doors – regardless of their previous experience. We especially invite:
- residents of smaller towns who want to take advantage of online learning and gain new knowledge without the need to commute,
- individuals who wish to close their competency gaps and enter the world of modern technologies,
- people with migration or refugee experience who are ready to build their professional future in a new environment,
- individuals returning to the job market after a break, seeking support and renewed motivation,
- people with disabilities and neurodivergent individuals who want to build their careers based on intellectual work, teamwork, and flexible remote work formats.
Helping Hand is an open and inclusive program, designed so that every participant can feel they are taking a meaningful step forward. If you want to grow, gain new skills, and prevent competency exclusion – you are in the right place.
