About the Project
It was an amazing journey that connected generations, cultures, and our shared care for the planet. The "Creative Recycling" project became a place to share knowledge and experience. Here, tradition met new ideas, and "useless" items got a second life.
During the workshops in Krakow, we discovered the hidden potential in things that usually go in the trash. Old clothes, fabric scraps, and used packaging became the material for our imagination.
Who was with us?
We combined the energy of youth with the wisdom of experience. Representatives of different generations took part in the workshops, united by a desire to act for the environment and an openness to learn from one another. Every meeting proved that creativity knows no age!
What did we create?
In the heart of the Krakow Multicultural Centre, we showed off our creativity. Participants worked on specific upcycling techniques, creating among other things:
- Tasty dishes in the spirit of zero waste.
- Natural cosmetics friendly to us and nature.
- Interesting and unique outfits made from second-hand clothing.
- Beautiful Christmas and New Year decorations.
- Unique gift boxes and vases made from recycled materials.
Each workshop was not just an ecology lesson, but also a time to build relationships over a shared meal.
Workshop Result – Virtual Gallery
Rezultaty warszThe results of this work exceeded our expectations! We are proud to present the outcomes of our activities. Every item created has its own story and author.
We have prepared a Virtual Gallery for you – a collection of photos, stories, and "step-by-step" instructions. We hope they will inspire you to try creative recycling in your own home.
