Opinions of participants in the 12th edition

The friendly, supportive atmosphere and well-chosen, professionally prepared instructors were very helpful during the training. The presentations contained a wealth of practical knowledge, and the fact that they will be available to us is a huge plus. I also appreciate the space for questions and the opportunity to discuss other participants' CVs, as it allowed me to make corrections to my own and see that I am no worse than others. Another big plus was the good, quick and professional communication with the Foundation's project coordinator and the punctuality of the sessions.

Simulated job interview – what is it?

Based on the job offer and CV you send, a UBS employee will conduct a mock interview with you. The date and time of the meeting will be determined based on the availability of the participant and the recruiter, but will take place between March 30 and April 1, 2026. The interview will be conducted online.

    Mentor/Mentoring – what are they?

A mentor is someone who has knowledge and experience in a given field and wants to share it with others. In the Career Boost project, this role is played by volunteers – UBS employees who have already gone through the job search process, acquired the professional skills required on the job market or in a given position, and now want to share their experiences to help others achieve their professional goals. During individual meetings, your mentor can share their knowledge, history, and experiences with you, discuss your goals, and give you personalized advice, as well as help you create or improve your resume. However, remember that your mentor is there to support you, but they will not do the work for you. It is you who must take action and strive to achieve your goals.
