First edition of BBO project - end of trainings

October 6, 2020

Recently, in the ongoing first edition of Barriers Breaking Opportunity project, remote trainings has ended and the participants have taken the final exam. Now is the time for mentoring/coaching sessions, where beneficiaries will work individually with employees from State Street.

BBO is project debuting this year that we are developing together with State Street. After each session, we collected feedback from participants to know what they liked and what needs to be refined. Here are a few of them:

"I was very impressed with the preparation of the trainers for this session. Their vast knowledge and very accessible way of communication made me understand many difficult aspects."

"Classes conducted in a multi-track manner. It was not a boring lecture, but a presentation intertwined with group work, so that all participants had the opportunity to actively participate."

"I learned many new things, examples from real life, real stories were interesting and helpful to assimilate the knowledge better. Trainers were prepared well, it was pleasure to listen their lesson and advices."

"This training was in a balance between theory and practice. There was a lot about the impact of stress in everyday life and dealing with stress at work as well. A large dose of practical knowledge."

"English classes gave me confidence during the recruitment interview, I am very happy to be able to continue the classes in October."
