What is Career Turn?
This is a FREE educational project for people interested in changing their career path and starting work in international organizations. Our goal is training support and effective career activation.
JIf you have a communicative command of English and want to participate in a 2-week series of extremely interesting and necessary training in the labor market that will prepare you for a profession and work in international organizations, then you are a candidate for Career Turn. Our project includes people from different social groups, in different professional situations, of different nationalities. Who are we targeting with the project?
The project is aimed at people currently in a difficult situation on the labor market:
- unemployed,
- at risk of losing their jobs or working below their qualifications,
- without higher education, without work experience,
- mature people, over 45 years old,
- people with disabilities,
- people returning from emigration,
- parents returning to the labor market,
- but not only!
What are the benefits of the project?

- Tangible result, as more than 60% of participants in previous editions have already taken up jobs.

What do we require from the candidate(s)?
Knowledge of English at a communicative level, as classes are conducted in this language.
Possibility of personal participation in the project - trainings are held stationary in the premises of the project partner UBS from 21July to 1 August 2025.

15.05.2025r. - 07.07.2025r. – Individual information and recruitment interview with a representative of the Foundation and UBS + online English proficiency test
po 10.07.2025 r. announcement of the list of persons qualified for the project (message sent by e-mail to the candidates' address given in the application form)
21.07.2025r.-1.08.2025r. - Training in Wroclaw, at UBS headquarters, conducted by UBS employees

Trainings will be conducted by, among others:
Roberto Picchiotti
He graduated in Rome with a degree in corporate communications and institutional relations. He gained professional experience in an international environment after moving to Poland in 2014 through his work in various IT positions.
In his current role, he manages a small team responsible for training the local Service Desk team on the one hand, and auditing the quality of their work on the other.
He also manages the internal DE&I network, which aims to promote cultural awareness and support the integration of employees with different cultural backgrounds.
In his free time, Roberto enjoys listening to history podcasts and reading classic literature or contemporary philosophy/psychology.
Alina Piatkovska
Born in Ukraine, but has lived in Poland for 10 years.
She has 9 years of professional experience in corporations, currently working at UBS as a Community Impact Specialist.
She enjoys engaging in additional activities at work, including as a trainer and leader of the CSR Career Turn project.
She can't imagine life without traveling. Her favorite destination is Portugal. To feel at home there, she has also started learning Portuguese!
She loves gardening, yoga, sports, painting and ceramics.
