Here are testimonials from participants of previous editions:
"Even though I have many friends working in an international environment, the entire project opened my eyes to various aspects of working in such a company. I greatly appreciate the time spent both during mentoring sessions and English language classes (...) We worked on my CV. [My English tutor] also helped me prepare for job interviews in English. She was always open to assistance and inspired me with good books to read on specific topics and places where I could find more information. [My mentor] helped me achieve my goals in terms of creating my CV and preparing for job interviews. She also helped me build confidence by sharing her experience and knowledge (...) I applied for a job at State Street during my participation in Helping Hand and received a job offer (...) I am starting a new job in December! I think this is the best review of this program and how it worked for me :) Thank you, Stella Virium, and the State Street team for the dedicated time and excellent work."
Anna C:
First and foremost, thank you for the opportunity I received from you. It happened at a time when I failed a certain exam, and it seemed like nothing would change in my life. Oh, how wrong I was, :) Two weeks of meetings with State Street and Your Foundation became the foundation for me to build the sense that life would still be beautiful. During the meetings, I outlined what I wanted to do in my professional life. Above all, I found a job. I found it on my own, without anyone's help. I went to the job interview confident in my strengths but also unafraid to talk about possible challenges from my side (children = illnesses and other unforeseen situations). To start with, I received a salary much higher than I had envisioned for myself. These are my personal successes but also the successes of your Foundation and State Street. You bring out the best in women and don't let them feel inferior just because they haven't worked professionally for most of their lives. Thank you for everything!
